Atara-Art was established in 2017 by Shira Anaki, in the purpose of making unique objects of Jewish art accessible to every person at a reasonable price. Shira, passionate about items related to Jewish and Israeli history and culture, holds a master's degree in Folklore and Folk Culture Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where she had the honor of studying under the notable Professor Shalom Sabar. During her studies, Shira was employed in Kedem Auction House LTD in Jerusalem, where she gained essential hands-on experience.

Combining our experience and expertise, we try to find the most beautiful and unique historical items, and convey their story to you. The items are bought in auction houses and sometimes, when luck strikes, we spot and purchase them in antique markets.
